CHAPTER 33

CRYSTINA’S POV

The following morning when I woke up, I had a blanket on my body and that came as a surprise because I don’t remember standing up to pick up a blanket or even anything else. Whoever bothered to bring me this fluffy thick blanket deserves a great week. After taking a quick bath, I had it in mind to visit the Beta and ask him when I could start working at the Pack’s kindergarten. I would’ve volunteered to teach math at the high school but I don’t think that will make any sense.

“Good morning, Miss Mary,” I picked up an apple from the kitchen fruit bowl and took a bite.

“It’s twelve, Luna,” She replied with a smile. My eyes went wide as I removed my phone from my pocket to check the time. My mind has been preoccupied with a lot of things that I didn’t bother to check the time when I woke up.

“Woah! I didn’t know it was past noon already,”

“You must be hungry. I can serve your lunch, right away,” She suggested and I knew that would only waste my time.

I shook my head.
