LUKA’S POV

I was in a Pack's meeting with my Beta and Gamma when another warrior tried reaching out to me through the mindlink. Thinking it was disrespectful and uncalled for, I ignored him. It was when Baba, my Beta told me about what was going on that I regretted ignoring him. I walked out of the meeting and insisted on my Beta not following me when they wanted to.

I got to the location that I was told and truly, Mellissa was fighting my mate, for reasons unknown. I don’t know what happened and I don’t know whose fault it is or who started the fight but I know truly well that Mellissa must have provoked Crystina so much for her to shift and fight with her.

I could easily distinguish between the two wolves because I was there when Crystina had her first shift years ago. I had hidden behind the tree while one of the pack members helped her through it. I didn’t show myself because I’d been trying to act tough and unforgiving. When I saw her white wolf for the first time, I was amuse
