Stuck with me

It's been days now since he started applying to resign and for some reasons the process seems like it's been held back or not progressing at all, felt like it was been stopped by someone or something and he couldn't place his hands on it

After the introduction that happened a few days ago he hadn't seen really seen Kales around which was a very good thing. First he didn't have to be constantly concious and second he didn't want to murder someone on impulse, it's been years so it was good to keep bygones bygones for now, as long as he wasn't discovered then there would be no reason to fight or seek for revenge.

Today like every normal day he had gone to work as usual, pretending like nothing happened, he didn't want others to know about him leaving, better to keep things low.

While working on a project he was called up by his manager/ supervisor. Entering the older man's office he was asked to sit down after greeting him

"Why do you wish to resign?" Mr Lim asked going straight to the point, seems like he wasn't happy with the development

How had he gotten to find out??? So much for thinking he could handle this on a low key and why?? he would explain, Well if one wanted to resign there was a department for that and it was handled secretly if they didn't want the others to know about their plans and that had been the step he followed so why did his own plan backfire?? Was it terrible luck?? Well ever since that bastard came into the picture it's just been series of bad lucks for him. Searching seriously inside his mind for a good reason and not been able to get one he sighed and faced down. He would have thought things through first and second he just couldn't bring himself to lie to the older man so he remained silent.

"Answer me Kelvin, is the workload much?? Do you need a leave?? Are you Sick??, if it's any of the above let me know so we can work things true. You can go on a vacation to relax from so much stress, I think that's it"

If it was before he might have jumped with joy but now, that didn't matter to him all he wanted was to leave the environment that had to do with that bas**rd

"No none of the above, I'm just not comfortable working after the company was sold, I'm gradually loosing it and I think it's best I leave" he answered truthfully

Well it wasn't a lie, just that the truth wasn't well explained

"As the best we have in our field I would be foolish if I decided to let you go wouldn't I??" He asked with his brows up and Kelvin sighed this was actually harder and tougher than he had imagined

Right now all he wished for was actually been the worst that way he wouldn't have to be having this quest and answer section just to determine if he could leave or stay. Staying however was way out of the option

"That's not enough reason besides the new boss is kinder and more considerate do I think your reasons are fake and insincere which is unlike you anyways come with me, if you want to leave after this then you can go I won't stop you"

Sighing he stood up and followed the older man, his mind was already made up and he was certain nothing could change his mind but in order to fulfill all righteousness and not be rude he had complied to the man's request.

They walked to the elevator and headed towards the top roof and why??? He had no idea, never had he come up here since the years he worked here besides the top roof was an off limits area under construction so no one cared much about it. He was even shocked to know the elevator led to it.

Getting out of the elevator he saw it was actually the opposite of what everyone thought of it, the top roof was very large and it was designed beautifully and it looked more like a luxious hotel room than an office though there was an office desk and chair at the far end of the room

Sighing he turned to Mr Lim

"Why are we here sir??"

"Nothing special the boss just wanted to know why you want to quit so badly so he asked me to bring you"

What!!!!!! How was this possible. He wasn't even given a heads up now that he thought of it, everything he wanted to avoid was just poking Him right in the face but this was not the normal boss office... What were they planning to do with him. His panic attack was coming and he didn't know if he could control it when he sees that face again. Turning he looked at Mr Lim with his eyes pleading but turns out the man wasn't even interested in saving him

"Thank you for bringing him over Mr Lim I'll take over from here" A deep voice said behind him causing him to almost jump in fright

That voice, he could never forget it no matter how long it had been, it had gotten a lot deeper but to him it had never changed. Gulping he remained where he stood without even turning to see that face. Mr Lim bowed and left, leaving just the two of them inside there!!! How did it get to this, the worst thing he dreaded was standing right behind him

"You might as well want to turn and look at me, I might think you're holding grudges even though we haven't met before Kelvin Benjamin" he stated emphasizing on his name, muttering a lot of courage and trying to put his fear and anger behind him, he turned to face him. He had really become more handsome and built, looked more like a Korean male god now, height. He hadn't looked at him clearly the first time but now... The hatred he was trying to hide was purging out. He was angry that Kales could keep living well even after destroying his life

" You never can tell can you?" Kelvin replied looking at him straight in the eyes.

"You hate me right??? I can see it in your eyes Kelvin you sure do and for someone you haven't met before it's bad" Kales replied sitting down on one of the sofas

"Ohhh I know you well enough to hate you" Kelvin muttered under his breath but Kales surely heard it as he had been reading his( Kelvin's) lips

"Took you long enough to let it out, how have you been Kelvin?" He asked with a smirk and Kelvin cleanched his fists

"I thought maybe you forgot me but turns out I was wrong, tshhh it's too bad you want to quit now. We could have been close don't you think?"

"Close my foot, do you've been the one delaying my resignation process haven't you??? You have no right to do that. I'll sue you for it"

"Really go ahead but you also breached the contract which stated you have you work for me for two years before you can resign, please do sue let's see who will get in trouble for it"

"Bas**rd you did this on purpose didn't you??? Is this funny to you huh"

"Yes very... The fact that you think you can run from me is very funny" he replied chuckling though inside he was boiling with rage

"Physco"

"Jokes are all done with let's talk business now" Kales stated before standing up and walking closer to where Kelvin stood

"Hey watch your steps" Kelvin stammered as he took back steps as Kales came drawing closer. His back hit the wall and Kales closed in leaning down to his level while using his hands to stop him from escaping

"You can't run away from me Kelvin" he whispered into Kelvin's ears before looking him in the eyes

"You're stuck with me, never forget that"
