"How did your ankle twist?"

I asked her, glancing at her swollen ankle.

"It all happened because of you."

She fixed her wrathful eyes on me.

"What have I done?"

I gave her a confused look.

"Who sneaked into his own house?"

Her face is now red with rage.

"Thief?

Did I seem like a thief to you?

Why would I come into my own home like a robber? I intended to surprise you by arriving early, so I quietly unlocked the main gate."

I reached inside the drawer for the ointment and quickly touched her twisted ankle.

"Oh, so that was your strategy for surprising people, I advise you, Aaron. Please don't try to surprise somebody ever again; this is a really bad method." When she saw me, she rolled her eyes.

"If you consider me a thief, then why were you so amiable during our conversations?"

I asked her.

When I heard her friendly talk, I thought she was trying to trick me, which is why I didn't respond to any of her statements.
