Realizing the truth of Abdul's words, Max's brow furrows instantly deepened. Looking down, he observed how tightly the Little Prince was gripping his shirt. The little baby had to be very afraid of being separated from his father.

"I'm sorry, Cayden," the man whispered while wiping his son's red cheek. "Your Dad can't think straight. I shouldn't have forced you to go with Mister Abdul."

As he continued to cling to his father, Cayden shed more tears. The pain in his heart was excruciating. He had never felt such a misery in his entire life.

Repeatedly, Max kissed the baby's head. However, Cayden's whimpers did not subside. Realizing that he had gouged out his son's inner wound, the man's regret grew thicker.

“Please forgive me, Little Prince. Dad promises not to push you again. We will stick together. You want to come find Mom, don't you? Then, how about we say goodbye to Mr. Abdul now?"
