The next day rolled in and Sebastian had to go to work where he needed to pretend like he hated Scar for Harper's satisfaction.

The same thing was what Scarlett had to do as well and she was a bit nervous about this, she didn't want to blow it.

Natalie prepped her and Scar left for work, her part was to be heartbroken and mad at Seb for not trusting her and leaving without letting her explain anything at all.

She walked into the building looking miserable, she didn't even bother to greet anyone there. Scar reached her workspace and instantly began working. A few moments later, Seb walked out of the elevator with Harper as he passed Scar's desk he didn't share her a single glance, Harper on the other hand happily greeted Scar and She faked a smile greeting her back.

They disappeared into Seb's office, and seeing them together hurt Scar despite it just being for show. They needed to distract her so that they could find something to destroy her.
