Episode 65

Festin's POV

Going out of what seemed to be something challenging, as I sat in the tallest of the trees, overlooking several packs that was shutting my son in there, my head started to grow bigger. The thoughts from ever corner draining me, and it ached my heart the more.

"Hundreds of years now and my son is still in there, in that cage. He's living a fake life which isn't supposed to be. Just how do I take him out of there? How do I get him to know what his heritage truly is?"

While perching in that tree, the many questions didn't seem to be enough the more I ask them. If not that I wanted to avoid bloodshed, I would have taken the bloody road. Before filling most of the streets with blood, I would have somehow gotten to my son. The delay was dragging me down every second. Just as I continued to drown high up in the tree, the wind carried a familiar scent through my nostrils.

My eyes got sharper suddenly and I looked straight down beneath the tree and listened closely while clenching
