Festin's POV

After sending the witch to her new room, some minutes later, Thugh and I were there in our bathtub, preparing for bed. It had been a long while with her and I couldn't be more grateful that she was there in my life. With the way it started, she wouldn't have been with me because of the constant pushing away. She took it upon herself to bite down her tears and come out as the winner someday.

"Give me a chance, Festin. I truly love you." She would say so desperately. "You can always look for your family while still with me, I won't fight with you."

Whenever she started her confession, I saw the determination in her eyes. She was way younger than I was and also a human who was bitten and then turned into a werewolf. Her journey wasn't at all sweet, not even a bit of enjoying in her life before we met. Parents killed by the raging beasts then got the bite from the curses one.

With all those gruesome things stacked, how would I have a mind to take her into my life? I couldn't
