Chapter 1

"Sign it or you die"

A gun pointed at his head made the young man with dark brown short wavy hair swallow hard, but he felt a bad seasoning as he checked on the red pistol barrel before his eyes, 'It isn't something she usually carries around. Maybe im wrong. And why do I remember what type of gun she has?'

"Don't make me wait, sign it now", once again the girl repeated making the young man shift his black eyes to the girl with the red pistol. She was young too, about the same age as him. She was wearing something that matches her cherry blossom hair and grey eyes, a pink long dress, and red heels, and yet her hands holding the gun are inclined 20° angle to reach his head.

'That always cold expression ruins this stunning articulation of hers'

The young man shifted his eyes without much thought to his left side where stood a white wall towering to the sky with words that he couldn't muster to understand and then he instinctively pulled out a black pen from his blue shirt pocket.

A few seconds later he realized that how many times he may try he went into a loop and still clicking on his pen top to push the lead, as he looked at the cold eye girl in pink, a sound jolted him.

Clank…

Drenched in his sweat, the nightclothes he was wearing sticking close to his muscular yet lean body; the young man woke up in his bed.

"Damn, my dreams"

Easing them up; the young man looked up at the middle-aged woman with grey hair saying her age, wearing a black and white maid outfit stand near the room door talk,

"Sorry, master. You abruptly babbled in your sleep. So I got startled and slipped…"

Hearing her explanation, the young waved her out of the room.

He breathed out, "thank god, she helped me. Damn, always the same dream for almost three months. I just can't appreciate when the bullet will reach me. That night she must have done something to me"

Skimming out of his bed, the young man walked to his bathroom mirror, "Just one year left till you get your life back, Jayson. So hang on until then."

Washing his face he once again looked at his black eyes contrasted exceptionally with his lightly tanned face… His face had that faraway look in it, which cannot be described in words. His smile, which reached up to his eyes made him more handsome, "Once I do so, I will get a bigger gun than her."

Knock

Knock

"Master, Lady of the house calls you down for breakfast"

Hearing the maids voice on the door Jayson's eyebrows wrinkled, 'speak of the devil'

"I will be there"

After ten minutes or so Jayson walked down from the top floor white stairs which brightens more with the red-painted wall everywhere. The whole two-floor building along with the underground parking garage was painted red, the exceptional liking of Lady of the house for red.

Jayson dressed in a formal dark blue shirt and black pants with a dark blue blazer on his shoulder surfing through his mobile, sat down on the dining table while picking up a glass of water, "day begins with a glass of water"

"Don't you have the habit of waking up early, even after accommodating in this house for so long?", hearing the same voice in his dream even more harsh sounding, Jayson looked away from his mobile at the young girl sitting on the other end of the table. She looks the same as in his dream, but now just her rosy blossom hair that reaches her shoulder is matched with a red pant and white shirt along with a red suit behind the chair. A dress befitting an extensive businesswoman, 'this is her daily dress and her cold face, my dream is just playing tricks on me. She ain't beautiful.'

Scoffing at her, he grabs a spoon to start his breakfast, "This is more than early, Ellen"

Seeing his 'I don't care' attitude, Ellen, the girl before him flipped out,

"Don't give me excuses, I hear that every day you are late to the office. Are you doing this on purpose to irritate me"

As Ellen said those words, Jayson placed down his silverware on his plate with a playful smile, "I think we had a pact"

His smile made Ellen clench her fist, "I'm asking as the owner of the company"

"Then do that in the office not here and that too, on the dining table; it makes me lose my appetite."

His attitude made her shout,

"A freeloader talks too much"

As the words came out of her mouth, Ellen felt apprehensive.

"I don't think so. I have the rights to do as I feel", Jayson didn't flip out like she expected it to be, and maintained a calm voice,  "And It is you who is crossing the boundaries, Lady of the house"

Looking at him calm Ellen didn't say more.

They spent some time finishing their breakfast in silence and walked out of the house at the same time.

Walking up to her Lamborghini parked outside the house with a driver opening her door, Ellen stopped in her tracks and looked back at Jayson, "tonight my parents are coming"

"Father in law is coming that's great news", Jayson became excited hearing her, but Ellen cut him off,

"Let me finish"

Taking two steps forward to him, she said, "Don't do things like last time. If you make me angry again, I will"

"Hey, wait. It was your father who made me drunk and do so, otherwise, why would I kiss you"

Ellen almost flipped out, "Don't make me remember that. And don't repeat that, even an illiterate like you should have some restraint and understand basic ethics"

Jayson didn't speak a word as he walked up to his old Ford parked near the gate that doesn't even cost the quarter of her Lamborghini and drove on the lane to the road as he smirks to Ellen who fumed with anger,

"Goodbye, wife"

'Tonight, I will show you another hell'
