My eyes flutter open as the morning light sneaks in from the window, and I feel the warm air caress my cheeks. My mind finally starts to adjust, and I suddenly realize that I'm using Cole's arm as a pillow, and his head is resting against my body, his breath hitting my face with the rise and fall of his chest. He looks so peaceful as he falls asleep, and I can't help but smile as I snuggle up next to him.

For a few minutes, I remained lying there before reaching out my hand and gently brushing some of his hair away from his face. He stirred slightly, and I pulled my hand away and continued to watch him. Time passed for a while before his eyes slowly started to open and meet with mine. It took about a minute for him to come to his senses and then he lowered his body and tightened his arms around me, pulling me into his chest in a suffocating embrace, and I let out a giggle.
