Instantly, we were up in the air, the world around us seemingly shrinking as we soared into space. I was getting used to flying, whether it was with Cole or one of the other guys, but the way he was holding me now gave me a whole new view, and it was just as scary as the first time I flew with him. I let out a little squeal and held on to his hand that was holding me tightly, and I could hear a small laugh.

Once we started to align, our bodies turned horizontal and our faces faced downwards. I forced my eyes open, feeling the wind on my cheeks. I sucked in a deep breath and looked around. At this angle, it felt like I was flying alone. Though I had never once flown during the day, the scenery below me looked breathtakingly beautiful, bringing a smile to my face.

The green expanse of the trees radiated in the daylight, and the surface of the water shimmered in the reflection as we passed over it.
