Bang! Bang!

I placed a hand on my temple as I wondered what was going on. Who was hitting the door that way? She slowly got to her feet, and she felt more like herself this time.

The ointment had worked. Gina had known what she was doing. She was truly a healer with a reason. The knocks were still coming. I groaned.

“Who is there?” I asked with a sigh.

“Come outside in 30 minutes,” Tina called out.

I blinked. I pushed out of bed quickly, and then saw my outfit at the other side of the room. I had completely forgotten that I was a damn maid in this part of the world. I needed to be more careful now.

I had a quick shower, and remembered what Tina had said about my hair. In other not to get into another punishment, I quickly washed my hair with one of the soaps on the sink. I had no idea what it was used for, but who cares. I stepped out and quickly changed into my clothes. I hoped I wasn’t late. I had no sense of time here.
