The door opened and Roy walked into the office, closely followed by Rinaldi, “You look paler than usual.” Rinaldi teased first.
Caleb let out a breath as he buried his face in his hands, “I feel like a fool.” He groaned.

There was no hesitation on his part. Caleb’s hands shot out, and found her slim waist, wrapping around it to pull her even closer. The energy was different.
