EPILOGUE part 1

CALL ME, KUYA!

“Thank you!" I said in a cold voice. Thirty minutes left and I am almost done with my project. Pwede itong ipabukas para makauwi ng maaga but I remember that I have a business meeting tomorrow from morning to afternoon.

It's almost ten in the evening and I feel like I'm dead while looking at the blueprint and my laptop. More projects, more pennies on your bank account. That's life, you work hard, you earn and vice versa.

Narinig ko na tumunog ang cellphone, kinuha ko ito sa ibabaw ng lamesa at sinilip kung sino ang tumawag.

“Si daddy." I whispered and answered his call.

“Dad…”

"Where are you, son?” malungkot nitong tanong sa akin.

"In my office dad.”

"Go home now, your mommy is looking for you. After what happened to your sister, hindi na s'ya mapakali na wala pa tayo sa bahay.” aniya at napabuntong hininga na lamang ako.

“Okay dad, thank you for calling me."
