Chapter 34

I was sitting on my bed when my phone rang, I jumped in a panic when I realised it was the FBI agent who was calling.

Somehow, I had hoped he would just go away.

"Hello?"

"Kinley, you answered, that's good. It's Agent King."

"What do you want?"

"I need you to get me information. Gianni is having a meeting tonight, and our mole doesn't know if he will be privy to sitting in, so you will have to. I need you to record everything."

"What? Are you crazy? If they find out I'm recording, they will kill me."

"Don't worry about it, no one will find out. I'll make sure the mole gets a package to you. Add it to your outfit and that's all we need."

"I suppose I don't have a choice in the matter?"

"You're a quick learner, I see. That's good, we will get along well then."

"What if Gianni doesn't want to let me go with him?"

"You're practically glued to his side. He'll let you go."

I cut the call without saying another word. It was making me angry and nauseas at the same time.

I knew Gianni had a m
