Chapter Fifty Seven

Elena’s POV:

I landed at the New York airport with the swollen eyes and running nose. I was a mess and people were giving me sympathetic looks. I dragged my bag and made my way out to find Noah standing in the middle with a black cap, shades, shirt, and trousers. He didn’t want paparazzi to catch him at the airport and follow us back home.

His striking grey eyes landed on me and he inhaled in shock, looking at the mess I was. I let go of the bag and ran to him, jumping in his open arms. I hugged him and cried silently while he rubbed my back mumbling comforting things in my ear. I didn’t know how long we stayed there like that but made me look at him.

“Let’s go home, I want you to tell me everything,” he said.

I nodded my head like a little kid and he picked my bag, I followed him to the car. The car ride to his house was quiet; I stared out of my window the whole way, lost in my own thoughts. He pressed the remote and the gates of his house flung open, he parked the car on the drivew
