Chapter Thirty-two
Cassidy wanted me to wait for them in the parking lot but I rejected the idea since it would take so much time to go out from there with the heavy traffic inside the parking area so even though it is still quite hot outside the mall, I waited for them there and stand on the other side where drop-off is allowed.
While waiting, I pick my phone from my hand bag to entertain myself and I am already in the middle of scrolling when the familiar voice from earlier is around once again and I could not help but to roll an eye before looking on the other side.
I just don’t want to talk with her and what’s the point? I mean, what else should we talk about? We are not close in the first place to have a certain topic in mind. And I don’t know. I just feel like something is off with Nicolette and I don’t want her around. I may be a little too judgemental but I don’t want to act in front of her as if we are good friends.

I’ve experienced many wins in life, but I’ve also had more than my share of losses. Some losses came through no fault of my own.
