Caring for Laura Gray

Anna knocks on Laura’s door early in the morning, there is no response at first. She knocks again and she could hear Laura throw a curse from the inside. She chuckled and shook her head.

“Laura, it is me! Open the door,” she instructed. She was still in her nightgown and hadn’t even taken a shower yet.

There were a few grumbles from the inside and then the door opened to meet a sleepy Laura. She was still wearing a Pajamas , and the linings could tell that she was just waking up.The scent of alcohol hit Anna immediately and she sighed, it seemed like her new friend had gone back on her words. Of course, she didn’t expect her to give it up so easily.

“Good morning,” Anna said with a smile. “You missed your alarm clock,” she added as she turned around and took the two mugs of coffee from the maid who had been waiting patiently.
