I am only pregnant, not dying

Anna headed back to her room upstairs, she couldn’t help but notice that her tummy was getting larger, the baby bump was now fully visible and it made her feel awkward. The thing about carrying a pregnancy was that everyone gets to know that you had sex; you are literally carrying a receipt of that intercourse and everyone can see it.

As Anna climbed the stairs and walked down the hallway leading to her room, she couldn’t help but feel like she was being watched. She turned back but there was no one in the hallway, at least no one that she saw. She sighed and shook her head, wondering if it was another symptom of pregnancy; what does she know? She was new to all this.

Anna got to her room and noticed that the door was slightly open, she was unable to remember if she had left it that way on her way out. Short time memory! Another thing she managed to pin the blame for on her pregnancy, it was the reason for whatever went wrong in her life these days.
