CHAPTER FIFTY THREE

ANDREW

The sound of crashes was heard from Andrew's room. He was drunk and angry and that wasn't a good combination for someone like him.

His mind flashed back to the morning time when he saw Manny quietly leave the house. He had come down for their ‘talk’ but it looked like she had other plans.

Her cries from last night filled his ears and he threw the cup to the wall again. The floor was with shattered pieces of glass, he roughly put his hand through his hair as he tried to think of what to do, he had never been in this kind of situation before.

A knock interrupted him as he poured himself another drink and he yelled, “What!?”

“Sir, there's a call for you.” A timid voice spoke out.

“Come in” He replied, his voice gruff, and a little girl entered the room with a phone in her hand, her eyes down to the floor, she dared not look at him.

“Yes?” Andrew answered rudely to the phone.

Mr Cooper? Your wife is at the station.”

He froze.

“Station?”

“Yes sir, she was arrested.”
