CHAPTER SEVENTY SEVEN

ANDREW

“I like you.”

Andrew stared at Jason, his eyes as wide as saucers, his ears trying to make something of Jason's confession.

“Andrew?” Jason snapped his finger to get his attention back.

“Did you hear me? I said I like…”

“No need to repeat it. I heard you the first time.” Andrew raised his hand to stop him, he couldn't relive the moment.

“So you have nothing to say?”

Andrew sat down, zoned out. He had suspected, so she shouldn't be surprised, yet he was. Jason's saying those particular words to him left him aghast.

“So what you're saying is…”

“I'm gay.” Jason helped complete his sentence.

Jason thought if he could distract Andrew with this piece of information, it would keep the thought of him having anything to do with Kate away. Even if it meant changing his sexuality.

“So what about Chloe? You two were dating, or was that just a cover-up?

“Cover up.”

Andrew nodded. His friend was a liar and a potential murderer
