CHAPTER EIGHTY ONE

“Whose child is dead?”

Andrew threw numerous questions at Manny, not understanding the issue.

“What the fuck is going on Manny? Who's dead?” He yelled and she began to get scared.

Holding the curtains for balance, she whispered, “Andrew…”

Manny's breathing quickened as tears rushed out as she faced him.

The doctor quickly took measures to calm her down and Andrew helped her lie down after she was relaxed.

“Harry, what is it?” Andrew demanded, not minding the age gap between them.

Doctor Harry bowed his head, sorry. “Your baby is dead. It's why she couldn't feel any movement.”

“What do you mean dead?” Andrew looked to the doctor and then to Manny, he needed an explanation.

“Your wife had informed me that she had ingested a poison and that had greatly affected the unborn child…”
