Chapter 7

When she looked up again, Joey had taken off the smile on his face and returned his previous coldness.

But his eyes still fell on her and didn\'t mean to move away.

Blocking Nunu\'s clingy affection again, Glenda patted her ass, got up from the snow, and raised her head as she stared at Joey not far away with disdain.

\"Your Bentley just got it’s glass broken. Did you have to go chasing my grandfather?\"

  Joey was slightly stunned.

A moment later, Joey said, \"are you Glenda?\"

  \"....\"Glenda didn\'t answer.

Bowing her head, she called out to Nunu the dog, \"Nunu, go and bite him!\"

Obviously, this time, she overestimated the obedience of Nunu towards her.

Because, the vigorous husky took steady small steps, walked to Joey and sat directly at his feet.

As if seeming to say, “I\'m with him.”

  ——————————

Glenda was annoyed by the stupid dog who was eating vigorously in front of her. Beside it, Alexander has pushed the door and came out.

When he saw Glenda, he couldn\'t help asking strangely, \"Aunt Ding just said you were changing clothes in your room. Why are you here now?\"

As he asked her this, Glenda glanced at Joey with a guilty heart.

She was afraid that Joey will betray her now.

And as expected, Joey lived up to her high expectations and tattled, \"Ms. Gray was trying to teach her husky how to rush up to people and bite them...\"

When Joey said this, there was no suspicion of complaint on his expression, but there was something that resembled playful banter.

  \"Nonsense!\"

Old chief Gray shouted at Glenda in a cold voice.

Glenda glared at Joey mercilessly. If it weren\'t for her grandfather in front of them, she would’ve burst out into a frenzy of rude words.

The Old Alexander continued, \"Glenda, Joey is not a stranger. In terms of seniority, you have to call him uncle...\"

Glenda\'s expression turned ugly, as if she had just swallowed a fly.

“Uncle! Him?” She thought to herself.

Alexander didn\'t pay attention to her as he waved his hand casually and said to her, \"come in quickly. Ruby has arrived and had been waiting for you in the living room for a while...\"

  “……”

Glenda didn\'t forget to show her teeth towards Nunu before she left. When she passed by it, she gave it a little kick.

Before entering the door, she heard her grandpa\'s voice coming from behind.

\"Joey, how is your grandpa recently?\"

  ……

  Pushing open the door open,

Glenda saw Ruby sitting on the sofa in the living room.

Ruby had change litter over three years ago.

In terms of appearance alone, she was thousands of miles away from Glenda.

It was just that her skin looked good. And it elevated her beautiful looks. Though, Glenda can\'t say just how beautiful she is.

  Seeing Glenda walking in.

Ruby quickly got up from the sofa and looked back at her.

  \"Glenda...\"

She called her still with the usual title. But even so, Glenda felt that the taste had changed.

Glenda didn\'t answer and went upstairs and directly passed her.

Aunt Ding on one side couldn\'t figure out the situation. Seeing Ruby embarrassed, she hurried out and said, \"Ruby, what would you like to drink? Coffee or juice?\"

Ruby answered softly, \"thank you, Aunt Ding. Don\'t bother. I\'m not thirsty...\"

  ……

Glenda held her anger and slammed the door of the room with a bang.

She wondered why did Ruby even bother coming.

Besides the man named Joey, Ruby also came by to add nuisance.

Angrily, she took off her coat, which was dirty by Nunu jumping on her. At that time, Hayden\'s call came again.

\"Revolutionary comrades in arms, have you escaped successfully?\" Hayden asked excitedly on the phone.

Glenda pulled a thick Khaki orchid windbreaker out of the cabinet, measured it in front of the mirror and replied to her mobile phone, \"no, the front door is blocked and now my home is invaded by Ruby. I\'ll arrive in 15 minutes. Wait for me.\"

After hanging up Hayden, Glenda put on her coat and changed her handbag. Then she went downstairs.

  ……

In the living room on the first floor,

Glenda passed by the sofa while directly ignoring Ruby.

Seeing that Glenda had changed her boots at the door, Ruby finally stood up from the sofa.

Before she could speak, Glenda went out the door with a bang.

  ……

At the door of the villa, Ruby caught up to her.

  \"Glenda, wait for me...\"

Glenda turned her head and looked at her coldly.

  \"Sorry, Glenda...\"

At the moment, Ruby looks more pitiful than Glenda. Looking at it outside, it seemed that Glenda was not the one who was robbed of her boyfriend, but her instead.

Glenda stared at her coldly and said, \"I have an appointment. If you have something to say, don\'t waste my time.\"

Ruby\'s face turned white and grabbed Glenda\'s wrist.

Her voice was still soft and misty in her eyes.

She said, \"Glenda, it was me. I hope you can forgive me and Harry. I\'m really sorry.\"

Glenda, who was depressed from the bottom of her heart, could no longer suppress her emotions.

Glenda shook off Ruby\'s hand and said coldly to her, \"why are you asking me to forgive you?\"

Ruby\'s body seemed unable to bear the stress. In the chilly wind, she had begun to shake.

She brushed away her swaying hair in front of her forehead and stuffed it behind her ears. Ruby hung her head very low.

He said, \"Glenda, I know you are unhappy, but... I love Harry more than you. Although he knew you first... I really can\'t live without him.\"
