Chapter 8

Glenda smiled angrily, stared at Ruby\'s eyes and said, \"Ruby, you only know that you like Harry, but you never know what I\'ve done for him! You won\'t know all your life! You say you love Harry, but you can compare everything I\'ve done for him, you\'re not even one tenth of my level!\"

  \"Glenda...\" Ruby trembled even more.

Glenda sneered, \"but now he\'s yours. It\'s meaningless to say this! If you want my forgiveness, give up!\"

Ruby grabs Glenda\'s hand again, her eyes gone red.

\"Glenda, I know it\'s all my fault, but I still want to say it, I also know that you were returning home for Harry... But I beg you, since you\'ve given up, go back to Britain quickly, okay? Don\'t appear in front of Harry again, I really......\" Ruby couldn\'t go on.

Glenda thinks this is the biggest joke in the world.

Behind her, a black Audi A8 was slowly approaching, and she didn\'t know it at all.

\"It\'s my own business where I am. Ruby, are you a little too forceful?\"

Glenda looks angry and wanted to take her wrist away from Ruby\'s hand.

However, Ruby clutched tightly and didn\'t budge.

So, Glenda simply pushed her away.

As Ruby was unprepared, she stumbled back and fell directly into the snow.

As Ruby sat half paralyzed in the snow, her tears soon fell. She looked particularly pathetic in the sobbing wind.

Not far away, behind them came the sound of the door closing.

As Glenda looks back, she saw Harry striding towards their side.

Even though there was hatred in her heart, when she saw Harry\'s familiar face again, Glenda\'s eyes gradually teared up.

Yet, Harry passed her by and ran directly to Ruby who fell to the ground.

Glenda turned her face and forced her tears back into her eyes.

As she was tussling with her emotions, Harry was helping Ruby to stand up.

Ruby\'s pale face had a trace of surprise.

Harry frowned deeply as she saw her. But before turning around, he was grabbed by Ruby.

Ruby\'s pear blossoms eyes were filled with tears. And for him, it really hurts just to see it.

She pulled Harry\'s wrist and said weakly, \"Harry, this is nothing. So don\'t blame Glenda...\"

Glenda snorted at the speech and sneered at them.

Harry frowned tighter and turned to Glenda. The disgust on his face was obvious.

He tore his wrist away from Ruby\'s hand, Harry held her shoulder with both hands, looked at her from top to bottom and asked, \"is there any injury?\"

Ruby bit her lower lip and shook her head, \"I\'m fine. Glenda didn\'t mean it.\"

Harry nodded and turned to Glenda.

Until this moment, Glenda never felt that Harry had really changed.

But the looked he gave her before was no longer there. He no longer spoiled her and no longer indulged her.

Her role suddenly became the vicious woman in his life and he was ready to tell her off for what she had done to the love of his life.

Glenda\'s heart was cornered unbearably and was hurting too much, but she still raised her chin high and was unwilling to show any weakness.

  \"Glenda, you weren\'t like this before...\"

Hearing what Harry said, Glenda smiled sarcastically, \"are you still the same person as you used to be as well?\"

Glenda\'s rhetorical question made Harry’s stern look towards her staggered.

Harry lowered his head, took out the cigarette box from his trouser pocket and lit one stick.

Ruby was still behind him and his eyes fell on her for a moment. Her face was paler than before.

\"Glenda, no matter what I\'ve done before, it\'s all my fault... I also said that no matter what Ruby does, if you\'re angry, just send it to me and don\'t bully her again.\"

Harry\'s low voice is as charming as before, but the eeriness it exuded made Glenda feel astonished.

  \"I bullied her?\"

Glenda felt like she was incredibly wronged.

Her boyfriend was robbed and became her cousin’s had accused her of heinous things!

Harry took a puff of smoke, flicked it away and it fell into the snow. With a slight sound of it stabbing the snow, the fusion of fire and snow was accompanied by a stream of smoke, and the cigarette end was soon extinguished.

Just like Glenda\'s mood at the moment, the only wasted heat had seeped into the cold.

Harry turned to Ruby, took her lightly and said, \"Ruby, let\'s go.\"

  \"Harry!\"

Standing behind him,Glenda finally couldn\'t help but shout at him.

Harry and Ruby turned around at the same time and his arm was still on Ruby\'s shoulder.

  ……

Glenda\'s vision is so blurred that she can\'t see what kind of expression they had on.

\"If I had chosen to return home with you a year ago, would you still be with her?\" Glenda bit her lip and asked the long-standing question in her heart.

Harry was silent for a moment, but his eyes were on Ruby\'s face.

They looked at each other affectionately and Harry finally opened his mouth.

He said, \"Glenda, if I liked your feelings before, then now, my feeling for Ruby is undoubtedly love, I love her...\"

In the chilly wind, Glenda heart seemed to have been quenched by the snow seeping into her bones until it hurt.

Glenda turned around as the tears in her eyes were about to fall.

Even if she had lost completely, she still didn\'t want to be seen as weak.

When she turned around, she found Joey was standing there not so far away.

Regardless of whether the two people behind her were still watching, Glenda stretched out her hand and wiped out the moisture in her eyes, and her small chin was still proudly raised.

She didn\'t notice when Joey stood behind her, let alone how long he came.
