Desmond's pov;

I was walking down the stairs after getting dressed for the shareholders meeting I had.

I wanted to call out for my driver ,when I saw Lucy was mopping the living room with her back turned to me, my footsteps were light so I think she didn't hear me.

I decided not to disturb her as I got down the stairs, I could hear her humming a song to herself,I think she knows how to sing because her humming was right on tone.

I stopped a foot away from her.

"Good morning Lucy." I greeted her and she flinched as she slowly turned to me.

I always wonder why she makes all this surprise looks when I call her.

"Good morning,sir, I didn't see you there." She said as she cleared her throat.

"You seem uncomfortable around me." I said as I took a step closer to her and she took a step backwards.

"See what I mean, you stepped backwards just because I walked towards you." I told her.
