Chapter 29: Nightmare.

Lucy's pov:

The past never seems to want to leave us alone, it haunts us day and night.

I thought I was prepared,but I guess I would never be prepared to face that one man that I trusted with my whole heart and body and he threw me aside when he was done with me.

After Desmond mentioned Andrew's name, my mind was just blank.

I was genuinely happy that Desmond was understanding and did not ask about Andrew any further when he saw how upset I was at the mention of Andrew's name.

Desmond is just unbelievably kind, even though I was glad he didn't ask about Andrew, that night, I couldn't fall asleep.

I tossed on the bed for hours, different scenarios of Andrew and I meeting played in my mind, it all made me feel so upset and angry.

I finally fell asleep after all the restless tossing around on the bed, but I had a nightmare, one that shook me and made me feel scared.

I jolted upright from the nightmare, panting and sweating.

I had a nightmare where Andrew took Danny, my son , away from me
