097: The Attack

Ophelia wasn't expecting to have a knife pressed to her throat inside the throne room. When the doors opened and she heard the sound of footsteps approaching her, she thought it was Finlay returning. Because she had her back to the door.

And just then she felt the knife to her throat and she knew it wasn't Finlay.

"Stay still or I'll slit your throat," the feminine voice had warned sternly, and realization slammed through Ophelia's senses that it was Madelyn.

Fear coursed through her whole body, and she did as she was instructed because she dreaded the thought of getting killed by the former prostitute.
