Chapter 19: Birthday

I woke up lying in my room. Getting up from the bed, my brows knitted remembering what happened last night. I know, I'm injured and it looks like someone healed me. I think it was Lucas, and he was the one who brought me here inside my room. I also remembered Adam's reaction. He mentioned about the color of my eyes but he didn't say what.

I stood up and strode closer to the large mirror. I looked at myself, especially my eyes. I saw a bit of green hiding in the dark part of it. But I questioned myself when I realized that this was not the normal color of my eyes. I mean, before last night happened, the color of my eyes was no different from a human's. But now, it's like I have a wolf.

I unleashed the power of wind last night with telekinesis. I hurt Snow and I don't know what happened after that. The door to my room opened and Dad greeted me with a sigh. "Breakfast is ready, honey. I'll take you to school."

But I asked. "What happened, Dad?"
