Familiar voice

As Agnes was getting older, her ability as a werewolf was dwindling with her age. Scarlett was not scared; she had the werewolves blood, so she allowed the woman to do her thing as some people were very suspicious. After a while, she saw confusion in the woman's eyes and knew that it was a result of not picking the existence of a wolf in Scarlett.

“Oh dear” Agnes's tone was sympathetic, “Must be a late bloomer, but it's fine, you will be among the strong ones. Now, let's go in and check on our little one there” she pointed at Scarlett's stomach.

“Why do I feel like your pregnancy has not been giving you so much stress? You baby seems peaceful”

Scarlett grinned as she kept her eyes fixed on the monitor. She never got tired of seeing her baby on the screen, and could look at it for a whole day without getting bored. She was looking forward to when she would be able to hold her child in her arms.
