I was silent the whole drive. I appreciated how atlas didn’t try to make conversation or even ask how I was. I didn’t ask where we were going either, I already where he would take me.

And since I didn’t want him to know where I was staying. I was cool with it.

I was surprised when he pulled up at the cabin his uncle had let me stay in. I turned to him, not sure what to say as he killed the ignition.

“Get you things.” He said simply.

Confused, I stared at him dumbfounded. What did he mean by that.

“What do you mean?” My voice sounded a little raspy from lack of use or something else.

I just didn’t want to think of anything that happened. The possibility of famine just using me to get to him.

Atlas had a lot of enemies. Some were dangerous but others not so much.

That was the one down Sid elf being powerful and coming from a very powerful family. And with his ambitions, it would be surprising if many people didn’t want to see him fail.
