92: Honor

I felt like I was in a rocket ship and I wasn’t wearing seatbelt. Or maybe a super fast car. I didn’t know how to explain it but my head felt light and like I was floating. I could hear voices around me but not what they were saying.

And I’m lying on my back and the next, I feel like I’m falling from a skyscraper.

I didn’t like any of this at all. Not to mention, the nausea. It was horrible. Probably the worst of everything else that was going on.

I heard a thud that shook me. And my worried brain went to atlas. I didn’t know how many they were. Who even are they and what do they want? I just know I didn’t want him to get hurt.

I needed to do something. I can’t stay here and let this weak feeling win. I’ve never even given up and I’m not about to start.

Using every last bit of strength that I had, I tried to move my body. I needed to know if I had that ability or not. Thankfully, when I tried moving my leg, it moved. Not in the direction I wanted but it was a start.
