Chapter 15

It was still dark outside when Sam woke up from sleep feeling thirsty. Sleepily, he made his way to the kitchen to satisfy his thirst.

After getting done when he was about to go back to his room, his eyes caught the sight of Cannon. He was sitting on the couch in the living room. His head rested against it and his eyes were closed.

Being confused, he walked to him. Sam was totally awakened when he reached Cannon. Even in sleep, Cannon looked sad. Last night he didn't get back to the penthouse with Sam.

Sam could feel nothing resolved between Elaine and Cannon seeing Cannon's face. He hesitated for a moment to call him thinking him asleep.

Proving him wrong, Cannon opened his eyes the next moment and sat straight. Seeing him standing there, he spoke up softly, "Why are you awake now?" He looked nothing like waking up from sleep or something.

Sam sat beside him and ignoring his question, he asked him, "What happened?"
