LUCIEN
“I assume you didn’t learn the rules well. A slave is not supposed to touch her Master. Especially when she is in the Chamber of Pleasure.” My fingers dug into my new slave Daruka’s soft pale skin.
Her naked body trembled under my painful grip as I held her tightly. Pain was a form of pleasure for demonic wolves, but I knew when to make it truly painful for those who dared to dance on my nerves.
As she opened her lips to utter an apology, her messy raven-black tresses began to transform, radiating with a stark white glow. It was evident that she was ignorant of many things in this realm, including the fact that among the demonic wolves, the alteration of one’s hair color was an undeniable marker of emotion - a trait considered a weakness.
There existed no system of classification, such as a Pantone shade card, to decipher the correlation between color and emotion. Fear could manifest as red, or perhaps as violet… even as white. There existed no specific designation.
I was the exception, as my hair color was a natural silver, a shade no demon was ever born with. This unique feature brought me a sense of individuality, but also a load of bullying. It led to some loose screws in my always chaotic mind, but that was a different issue altogether.
“Kneel,” I commanded, my Lycan aura rolling off me in powerful waves. My use of Lycan powers gave me a sense of control over the pack of wolves here, which I had hired from different parts of the globe. Though, the term “hiring” might be a bit of a stretch as it involved more of forcing them into submission.
The best part was, I didn’t have to tolerate a mate. As a demonic wolf, I was not bound by the same rules as others. Dominic, who was the vessel for one of my older workers, Asphalt, however, was an exception. He had been cursed by Selene and forced to live with a mate.
Without any hesitation, Daruka sat on her knees on the gloss black marble which reflected the dark red walls of the room, furnished with velvet maroon curtains, and black recamier sofas with cushions and ropes against the ceiling to restrain the slaves.
“Please forgive me, Alpha. Would you like me to please you?” her gaze dropped to my black trouser, the scent of her arousal strong.
I leaned over her, gently raising her chin with the tip of my finger as I whispered, “Your dedication impresses me.” I pressed my thumb on the bruised corner of her lips, hearing her hiss. Her nipples hardened upon the act, silently asking for more.
My voice dropped dangerously low, “Lick the dirt off my boots. Every inch of it.”
Once again, her hair changed color, this time a stark purple, and her eyes settled on my shoes. “Not this one. I’ll have Hera assign you the shoes,” I clarified, my tone firm and commanding. “Now leave before I make your punishment worse.” The slave, cowed and trembling, quickly scurried away, her head bowed in submission.
I stood before the mirror to check my appearance. If it weren’t for the impending mating ball, I would have enjoyed the sight of my slave’s expert tongue shining my shoes to perfection. But today was important, as it marked the end of an eighteen-year wait.
Evangeline Dark, the daughter of Alpha Dominic Dark, had finally come of age.
The day she had risen from the dead, I knew there was something different about her. It was only later that I discovered something that would threaten my position as a Lycan King. I could have killed her, but where was the fun in that?
I had a better plan. I wanted her under me, as my slave.
As I let a ghost of a smirk grace my lips, memories flooded back to me of poor Dominic, who had been so unsuspecting when he agreed to my bargain. Little did he know, his dear daughter would soon bear the consequences of his naive decision.
I would enjoy breaking her and molding her into the way I want her to be.
Strutting out of my chamber, I met my worker Hera, also known as one of the highest-ranking demons of Hell. I had no Betas as they were frustrating. She clutched an iPad against her chest, her voice steady as she spoke. “I have arranged your escort, Alpha. Anything else you need?”
“Instruct the maids to clean the chamber,” I commanded, my thoughts drifting to the image of the Alpha’s daughter adorned with a slave collar on her neck, “and see to it that the necessary preparations are made to receive my new slave.” The tip of my shaft stretched under my trouser zipper at the thought of her trapped in my slave room.
Sex with slaves was a daily routine of mine, yet I was turned on just by the mere image of her? It must be because of the long wait.
Hera’s red tresses gradually morphed into a shade of pink, a clear indication of her concern for the girl. “With all due respect, Alpha,” she began, her tone cautious, “the girl is but eighteen years of age. Is it truly necessary to provoke Dominic and Asphalt? Such actions could lead to a war that we may not be prepared for, especially considering our current circumstances.”
My growl echoed through the dark gray walls of the hall as I replied, “It is they who should be fucking concerned. Dominic and Asphalt made a pact. If they fail to abide by it, I can eradicate their entire pack in a matter of minutes.” Hera’s lips pressed together in a thin line as she nodded in agreement. “What is the current state of the rogues?”
“Negative, Alpha,” She reported, her tone apologetic. “We have been scouring the lands for weeks, yet we have not been able to locate a single trace of them. It appears these rogues possess the ability to evade our demonic and wolf senses.”
My jaw clenched in frustration. When I was crowned as the Lycan King, I never imagined that the ghost of my past would return to haunt me. An old enemy of mine was manipulating these cunning and adaptive rogues and had set his sights on my prize, Evangeline.
I would not let him get to her. She was mine.
“Continue the search. Increase the number of warriors in the search team and remind them to exercise caution,” I commanded, my thoughts shifting to the matter at hand. “We have already lost fifty of our most elite demonic wolves due to our carelessness. I will investigate this further upon my return with my slave.”
“Alright.”
As I stepped out of the grand mansion, I made my way toward my Porsche Panamera. The driveway was a smooth expanse of black asphalt, and the sound of my shoes echoed in the cool night air as I stepped inside the car.
The journey to Wilfair would have been a long one, if not for our demonic powers. With a simple thought, I was capable of transporting myself to my destination, but I still enjoyed the luxurious ride in my car, it was a symbol of my status and power. The ease of teleportation was a luxury only available to demonic wolves like myself.
The road was deserted, save for the occasional trees that stood tall and proud on either side of the road. The leaves rustled in the breeze, creating a symphony of nature that only served to heighten my anticipation.
As I arrived, the once peaceful midnight blue sky turned to a dark and sorrowful gray, a fitting announcement of my presence. My eyes glowed red in the reflection of the car window as I astrally projected, searching for the person I had been eager to meet.
I found her, standing alone on the balcony in a sexy burgundy dress that accentuated her hourglass figure. Her soft, porcelain skin, which my fingers ached to touch, was damp with tears.
I knew she had seen that lame guy kiss a girl set up by me. She was one of my succubus, sent to keep an eye on Evangeline. I liked to swat away flies hovering on top of what belonged to me.
“So sad. The little girl got her heart broken,” I whispered in her ear. Her purple eyes searched for the owner of the voice around the balcony while I couldn’t help but check those huge bosoms peeking out of the neckline.
I licked my lips. She had received the best out of her parents. With her coming of age, my thirst to have her kept ridiculously increasing—to the height where no slave or demoness could replace her. It was my little secret.
First, break her. Then kill her. Simple.
The cars halted in front of the giant gate of the estate where the Mating Ball was held. My polished shoes fell on the hard cobblestone driveway lined by tall palm trees and I straightened my suit from the creases. The modern mansion at the end of the driveway stood tall and imposing in the dark of the night, its sleek lines and sharp angles casting long shadows on the perfectly manicured lawns that surrounded it.
From one of its opulent balconies, I felt Evangeline’s curious gaze on me, and on cue, I looked up. The sound of her heart racing wildly and the sweet scent of jasmine with a pinch of citrus to it consumed my senses.
I paid no mind to the big gate dogs of the Alpha who discussed my presence.
“Hey, you! You are not invited! How dare you step inside the gates without an invitation?” one of them said.
“Wait, he doesn’t appear to be someone of a lower class. He has men with him. What if the Alpha did invite him?” another said.
“I asked for his invitation card. They don’t have it. He could be one of the enemy packs,” the first one said, not aware of my high listening ability.
As the guards argued, my gaze didn’t leave Evangeline. She stood against the railing, her eyes locked on mine. Her expression was one of confusion and intrigue as she looked down at the commotion at the gates.
I gave her a sly wink and her eyes widened like saucers. Cute.
Disinterested, I turned back lazily at the guards, “Now, now gentlemen. You wouldn’t want a bloodbath, would you? Why don’t you tell my name to the Alpha? I’m sure he’ll recognize who I am,” I said, my eyes glowing red as my aura intensified. The hair on the back of their necks stood on end as they felt my power.
Dominic should have taught them better.
One of the guards had a glazed look in his eyes as he mind-linked with Dominic. He looked back at me and said with a dissatisfied look, “The Alpha ordered us to allow him inside.”
Only if you had asked earlier.
The big dogs stepped away, and I walked past them with my men. “Feel free to feast on their souls. I’m sure nobody will miss them.” I told my warriors who grinned at my proposal and the row of men standing at both sides dropped on the floor one by one, as their souls were sucked out of their bodies.
Demonic wolves were hybrid demons after all. They needed to feed on life to survive.
I hadn’t walked too far when I looked up once again. She was not there. I couldn’t help but feel a little disappointed but I knew she was inside the mansion and I would find her.

EVANGELINEAfter what I had just witnessed, I stumbled down the staircase, my breathing uneven and frantic. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. The man from my nightmares was now here, in front of me. How could this be happening?I never believed he could be real and thought it was part of my imagination. As I rushed down the stairs, I tripped on one of the steps but managed to catch myself before falling. My heart was pounding wildly in my chest, and I could feel the energy and excitement radiating from Crystal. She was trying to say something to me, but I was too overwhelmed to listen. I could feel her strong emotions coursing through me, like an electric current.I had never felt this way. But why? When I finally reached the first floor, I was shocked to see that all the guests were still engaged in conversation, seemingly unaffected by the strange turn of events. But my parents, as well as Sean and Mia, were nowhere to be found. I felt a sense of unease settling in the pit of my
EVANGELINEThe warriors of our pack shifted into their wolves, their powerful forms bristling with fury as they growled and snarled at Lucien. Lucien stood calmly, his hands shoved inside his trouser pockets, and despite him wearing a mask, I could make out the smirk playing on his lips.Sean’s wolf, with its ginger-colored fur, charged forward, leading the attack against the Lycan King. But Lucien was not intimidated. His emerald eyes glowed with a sinister light as he lifted his hand lazily, summoning his powers. With a flick of his wrist, a wave of force slammed into Sean’s wolf, sending it flying across the grand foyer of the modern mansion. The other wolves hesitated, momentarily stunned by the display of power. However, the Blood Moon Pack was not one to back down easily. They attacked as a pack, launching themselves at Lucien with all their might. But Lucien stood his ground, using his invisible powers to deflect their strikes and send them flying. His powers were a blur, slammi
LUCIENI knew Dominic wouldn’t just wave the white flag and hand over his daughter to me. So when his pack challenged me, I wasn’t surprised. I felt an adrenaline rush spike through my arms to my fingertips as the wolves of his pack lunged at us. I summoned my power and focused it on my palms. The first wolf lunged forward, teeth bared, but I was ready. I sent a blast of telekinetic force toward the animal, throwing it back with ease. The look of hesitation on the other wolves caused a sly grin to form on my lips. I didn’t need to shift and use my pack men to fight against the Blood Moon Pack because they were nothing compared to what my pack was capable of. It was lucky for them that they didn’t enrage me to the point where I would shift.I raised my arm and summoned another burst of energy, sending a wave of force that knocked back several wolves at once. They yelped and growled, but I was relentless. I attacked again and again, using my powers to toss wolves left and right, never
EVANGELINETo my surprise, Lucien released Mom, but when he announced his intentions to come after me, I realized I was trapped in this deal. While I couldn’t fault my Dad for making the agreement, especially given the dire circumstances he faced at the time, I didn’t want my pack to suffer because of me.Just as Lucien was turning to walk away, I saw movement out of the corner of my eye and my heart skipped a beat when I realized it was my father. He was launching an attack on Lucien from behind, but he never made it as he froze in mid-lunge.“Dad!” I shouted, holding my mother in my arms. Her eyes were closed and her skin felt cold to the touch. I motioned to one of the warriors nearby, asking them to take her to one of the nearest rooms in the mansion to rest.Dad was trying to move, growling with bared teeth, and I realized that it was Asphalt who was trying to fight Lucien. However, no matter how hard he struggled, he seemed unable to move. Lucien simply stood there, his lack of
EVANGELINE Mia’s gaze shifted between her parents, her brow furrowing in confusion as she waited for their response. Getting nothing except a contemplating silence, she cleared her throat and finally spoke up, her voice laced with uncertainty. “So?” she asked, her eyes darting back and forth between her Uncle and Aunt. “I don’t like the proposal, but Marshmallow has a point. Potato can’t shift and the wolves can try bullying her. Though she’s capable of protecting herself, we can’t be too sure. It's better if she has someone with her.” Uncle Sky said, using the names he used to call us when we were kids. I was Potato and Mia was Marshmallow. It was an odd combination but Uncle Sky wasn’t Uncle Sky if he didn’t come up with odd names. “Then let me go with her,” Sean’s voice came from the back and we turned to look at him. He was also with us when we entered back home and probably heard the conversation. He looked at me, “The Alpha and Beta considered me worthy of the title of the
EVANGELINE The sound of growls, claws clashing, and the burning bitter smell of smoke rising from the flames around me consumed the forest in its fierce embrace. I watched as my dad’s wolf Asphalt fought ten wolves simultaneously. I could feel the heat of the fire blazing through the forest as a thick blanket of smoke crept between the trees, the smell of burning wood and ash stinging my nostrils. The burning flames that engulfed the area shone off of the wolf's fur, illuminating their movements as one of them bit onto Asphalt’s shoulder, sinking its canines deep into his flesh as blood bathed Dad’s black fur. I wanted to kill that wolf for hurting him, but my legs felt boneless against the ground I fell on a few seconds ago. My stomach churned in agony as the strength of my mother's spell slowly began to take its toll on both me and my wolf. I felt a wave of nausea crashing against the walls of my throat, sharp and intense like a venomous poison. It burned its way up relentlessly,
LUCIEN As I towered before my pack warriors, I lowered my index finger to the map laid on the table in front of us. My finger traced a circular shape around the area that the rogues had vanished from, my finger coming to tap three times on the spot. “These rogues have a portal, a transportation device that allows them to travel anywhere at will,” I explained, my voice stern and commanding. “Think of it as a larger version of Anywhere door.” One of my warriors furrowed their brow, “What’s an anywhere door?” they asked. I scowled in response, “You don’t watch anime? How can you not know what’s an Anywhere door?” my shock was quite visible on my otherwise stoic face. My men exchanged confused glances, “Well, we’re not sure what you’re talking about, Alpha..” they said hesitantly. With a bored sigh, I looked at them sternly. “I can’t believe I have fucking pack members who don’t watch anime,” I spat. “Here’s your assignment: before we meet again to discuss our plan, watch twenty e
LUCIENMy eyes were fixed on the three unexpected guests who had somehow infiltrated the passage of our transport and were now seated on the cool dark marble floor of the foyer of my pack house. “How the fuck did you three come here?” it was impossible for anyone to enter our pack house without the required knowledge to access the hidden passage leading to the Hollow Hills. They couldn’t have done it unless—-my gaze shifted to Caleb whose eyes widened and he shook his head. His words came out in a stutter as he lifted a shaky finger to point at his footwear, “I-I… she was holding onto my leg just before we teleported.” “It was a piece of cake,” the brunette spoke with confidence. “I just acted as if I had given up on the fight, and then grabbed onto his leg as he teleported. I happen to know how you demonic wolves can transport, so I utilized some of my own powers to shield Sean, David, and myself before we made the leap.” She looked over at Caleb, a smug smile playing on her lips.
