Thirty-first Run

The group cautiously moved through the dimly lit corridors of the university, each step accompanied by the ominous sounds of their steps in the building. Luckily, it wasn't as loud as it is, or else they might have invited trouble. Suddenly, the atmosphere was shattered as a horde of mindless creatures on the second floor lost their footing and tumbled down the stairs, crashing right in front of the group. Hannah and Liam couldn't help but gasp, and their jaws dropped.

Reacting swiftly, Brandon summoned his metal and wind abilities. Metal blades swirled around him, slicing through the air, while gusts of wind sent the fallen creatures stumbling backward. Marcky, not one to be left behind, unleashed bolts of purple lightning, each strike finding its mark with deadly precision.

Liam, being with military personnel, developed his alertness much better than before. He could finally move, almost as soon as he got over the shock.
