Thirty-sixth Run

As night fell, they decided it was best to spend the night within the safety of the store. They didn't want to go and drive their vehicles at night because it was more dangerous than staying in the store. Brandon, feeling refreshed after his bath, volunteered to take the first shift on guard duty along with Liam.

Well, Brandon doesn't want to, but he couldn't help. His lover wants to guard with him; what could he do? He could only agree.

The interior of the store was dimly lit by emergency lights, casting the group's long shadows across the aisles. It was great that the light couldn't be seen from the outside because there's no window near them and the door was closed. Liam and Brandon found a quiet corner, away from the others who were settling down for the night.

Liam, who is glancing around, started to feel a little off. "Feels strange, doesn't it?" He glanced towards his lover. He saw him looking at him as well. "No mindless creatures in sight; a peaceful night—almost too peaceful
