Thirty-fourth Run

In the storage room, in order not to attract attention from those mindless creatures that could see better in the dark, they did not turn the lights on. The only thing they could see was darkness. Even though there's a little light from the moon, it wasn't strong enough to illuminate the inside of the storage room.

As Jarvis stirred from sleep, his eyes adjusted to the darkness, and he spotted Brandon sitting by the entrance, a silent guardian in the night. He could still vividly remember how his brother tried to pursue Brandon to be the guard at night with him, but Brandon flatly refused, telling him to go and rest.

This is the first time he saw Bradon stir his face toward his brother. If it was from the others, his brother will surely knock them off.

Cautious and protective, Jarvis approached Brandon; his steps were light, and he did not wake Liam, who was lying down and sleeping not far from Brandon.
