Twenty-third Run

The bus came to a stop a safe distance away from the mall, hidden from the plain view to minimize the risk of being taken by the others. As sure as people are today, when they see a nice car, they will buy it. Their improvised car is much more pleasing to the eye than those normal vehicles.

As Liam and Brandon stepped off the bus, the groans and screams from the surrounding area of the mall reached their ears. Liam was immediately terrified. It also reminds them of how the world is right now.

Meanwhile, Brandon, with a protective instinct, put a reassuring hand on Liam's shoulder. He knows how his lover worries about things. That's why he needed to make him feel reassured.

"Let's take a detour and enter from the parking lot. I think it's safer there because there are only a few people there. If this happens with a lot of people, it's sure that everyone will come out towards the main gate." Brandon then held Liam's hand as he added, "It is too risky to enter from the main entrance. We
