Mr Smith shrugged at Charlie as he made his way to Mark Molt's office. Charlie was baffled by his response and decided to forget about it. He knew that after the meeting, the whole office would probably get the news if it was something major.

Mr Smith knocked at the door.

" Come in", Mark said politely as the door opened a crack, " ah, Mr Smith. I have been waiting for you".

Mr Smith smiled with curiosity as he looked at Jessica. He pulled out the chair and took a seat while Mark gestured for Jessica to have a seat next to Mr Smith.

Jessica woke up quietly and walked towards Mark's desk. She was curious. " Was he paying get for the act she had just performed with him?", she thought.

She sat next to Mr Smith and waited for her boss to speak.

" Mr Smith, I called you here for a very important contract. As you know Mrs Blunder is nearing retirement. She is one of the most loyal staff that we have in this company. A true asset", Mark said feeling nostalgic. He really would miss her. B
