124. Julius' Advise

Damon's pov

I could feel the anger boiling up inside of me as Julius tried to calm me down. "Don't worry about Arturo," he said, "He's just a small-time crook. You're bigger than him."

"Bigger than him?" I spat out. "He threatened me, Julius. He threatened me and my family. And you're telling me not to worry? You're telling me to be the bigger man?"

Julius put his hands up in a defensive gesture. "No, no, that's not what I meant, Damon. I'm just saying that we should look out for plan B. We should be prepared in case the private investigator doesn't find the guy who stole the drive."

"Plan B?" I asked, incredulous. "What kind of plan B? We don't have any money to pay Arturo back with."

Julius stepped closer to me. "That's where you're wrong, Damon. We can come up with the money. You just have to be creative. Think outside the box."

I shook my head. "The money he wants is too much, Julius. I don't know how we're going to come up with that kind of cash."
