Cheating death

Wyatt sat the tray on my side table and furrowed his brows, sniffing the air, and then leaning down to sniff me when a snarl marred his once happy features.

“You reek of vampire,” he growled.

“I just had one of my dreams. You’re not going to believe this, but vampires are able to sense us in other realms. I spoke with him.” As eerie as the experience was for me; It also happened to be incredible.

I had no idea about my abilities growing up, but now, they are far beyond anything I could have ever imagined.

Wyatt’s eyes went wide as he stared at me with shock. “I’m sorry. What?” he spat through gritted teeth.

“His name is Atlas. He said he was nearly four hundred years old. He’s not part of a clan anymore...” I was rambling off all of the information that I could remember.

“What did you see in the future?” he asked, cutting me off.
