Chapter 104

CLAIRE's POV

“Let me go!” I yelled as I struggled, but all my protesting fell on to deaf ears.

My arms were held firmly by Sorcha’s minions, so freeing myself from their grip was proving difficult. Just how strong were they?

“Where are you taking me Sorcha? Let me go this instance!” I yelled once again.

Sorcha only spared me a glance and she kept walking.

“I know your tactics. No matter how much you yell, no one will come to your aid. Your friend Luis is not here after all,” she chuckled.

My heart sank. Luis was not here either? When had he been dispatched? And why was I not informed? I felt a pit forming in my stomach. Had I lost my friend too? My head was spinning and my thoughts were jumbled up.

Sorcha led her minions to a clearing which was beside the woods. It had a large well in the middle of it. I became even more confused as to why Sorcha would bring me here? What on earth was she planning?
