Chapter 105

CLAIRE's POV

As I lay on the grass, cold began to seep into my body slowly. I pushed my self up from the ground, ignoring my body as it trembled uncontrollably. I staggered down the path leading back to the pack house.

When I approached the door, I turned the door knob, and to my surprise, it did not budge. I began to panic and pushed the door several times more. I cursed under my shaky breath. Sorcha had locked the door from the inside.

She really intended on letting me freeze out here.

I shivered and clutched myself tightly, in an attempt to try and terminate some body heat. I decided to try again, but the door refused to budge.

I began to feel despair. Was I going to stay locked out here forever? I trudged to a corner and slumped down, raising my knees up to my chest, and clutching myself.

My teeth clattered and my body shook. My wet clothes clung to my body and my also wet hair stuck to my face. Could I try calling out for someone?
