Chapter 176

CLAIRE's POV

I watched as the men, which Luis had referred to as bandits encircled us slowly. They were really hellbent on taking me away. The man, who I had guessed to be the leader began to approach me slowly. Luis stood in front of me, in an attempt to engage the man. The man chuckled and signalled for his men.

"You are not the one I want, and you are in the way," He said, with a menacing stare.

"You will not be able to touch her, as long as I am here," Luis retorted.

The man chuckled an within the blink of an eye, three of his men surrounded Luis. They grabbed Luis by the arm and flung me to the opposite direction, away from me. My head spun to his direction and I saw him pushing himself up from the floor. Luis was a good fighter, I had nothing to worry about, but would he be able to take on three men all by himself? My heart dropped when more men encircled him.
