As I walked through the forest with Luis by my side, my mind was still reeling from the battle we had just fought. The dark forces that Cora had sent to our realm were strong, but we had managed to defeat them with the help of our pack. However, the fact that Cora and Carlo were nowhere to be found in our realm left a bitter taste in my mouth.

I had longed to rip both of them to shreds with my bare hands.

"I can't believe she wasn't here," I muttered, kicking a rock out of frustration.

"We may not have found Cora, or Carlo, but we have freed this realm of the dark forces," Luis replied, putting a reassuring hand on my shoulder. "That's something to be proud of, Alpha,"
