DOMINIK's POV

Cora appearing in the pack house out of the blue was not something I had anticipated. Why the fuck had she shown up like that?

I muttered curses under my breath as I dragged Cora up the stairs with me. The only thing on my mind was Claire, and how broken she had looked when Cora had blurted out the plans for our marriage.

I was at a loss of words on how to explain everything to Claire, but what exactly was I going to say? I did agree to marry Cora, I had no excuses to give.

Once we got into my office, I flung Cora in and shut the door behind me once Luis had come in. I glared at Cora, but she did not seemed fazed at all.

She retained the cocky smile on her lips and her eyes gleamed with happiness and fascination.

“Did your father really send you here?” I questioned.

She frowned at me and pouted her lips.
