"I'm immortal, Liam," Jazmine blurted the words right out just after Liam finished his shower in the morning.
She had been gathering the courage to talk to him about it. But every time she wanted to talk about it, she couldn't say a word. She wanted to grow closer to Liam, loving him the way he loved her. But the miscommunication slowly caused a rift between them.
Liam stood there, repeatedly blinking while trying to dry his dripping wet hair. The rift in the relationship wasn't that visible for everyone else to see, but it was visible for both of them.
