Third Person's POV The phone slipped from Hughes's fingers and his hand dropped to his side. Hughes looked to the sky as he laid there choking on his blood. So many thoughts and images flashed before his eyes. Aside from his childhood memories, the images of his mates flash before his eyes. More tears ran down Hughes' face as he realized he would die without ever being loved by either of his mates, and it was all his fault. Hughes tries to think of those that love him, and he suddenly feels so alone. He struggles to breathe before choking on his blood again. He feels the warm spray of his blood, as it splashes on his face while he coughs. His head moves from side to side as he tries not to think of the pain, from the giant piece of metal embedded in his chest. He feels cold, but the liquid running down his body is so warm. As Hughes looks at the sky, his vision begins to blur even more. Hughes rapidly blinks, and more tears fall from his eyes when he realizes the only per
Third Person's POV Ethan and Claudius sat in the back seat with their Alpha laying across their lap. Even though Claudius could feel the bond was stronger, and Hughes no longer felt like he was dying, Claudius was still scared. He couldn't seem to stop the tears as he ran his fingers through his Alpha's hair while Hughes' head lay unconscious in his lap. Claudius leaned down and pressed his lips to Hughes' forehead. Hughes took a sharp breath in before finally opening his eyes. Tingles danced across Hughes' forehead as he opened his eyes. His heart skipped a beat when he realized Claudius's lips were on his forehead. It almost took his breath away when he realized Claudius was kissing him. As Claudius begins to pull back, Hughes fingers raked across Claudius' face before resting his palm against Claudius' cheek. Hughes's heart stutters in his chest when he looks into Claudius' beautiful hazel eyes. Claudius lets out a shaky breath as he rests his forehead against Hughes. Cl
Third Person's POV Colton hung his head as he exited the car and entered the pack house. He couldn't even bring himself to lift his head. He definitely didn't want to look another pack member in the eye. He was too ashamed. Too embarrassed of his father's actions. He slowly climbed the stairs and walked down the hall. Without even thinking, he opened the door and entered his apartment. Colton dropped his keys in the basket on the table, just right of the door before heading down the hall toward his bedroom. His heart felt heavy until a certain scent hit his nose. Colton's not sure how in the world he forgot about him, but somehow through all the chaos, he did. "My baby!" Colton whispered, before racing down the hall. He flung the door open and a little squeak was heard coming from the bed, as Timothy brought his tail in front of his face in defense. Colton's heart melted the moment he saw that little tail. "I'm so sorry, kitten!" Colton said before he moved forward and climbed o
Third Person's POV Ethan sat there for what seemed like hours, listening to all the big bulky werewolves talk. They talked about the elders, Hughes's mother, Colton's father, and from what it sounds like, the ring leader is Hughes' uncle. Emory Delacour, Hughes' uncle is the leader, and Kent West, Colton's father is his right-hand man. And from the evidence, Elaine Delacour, Hughes's mother isn't innocent and has been in on this from the beginning. Not only was she part of planning the attack, but she was also hoping her mate, and son were killed in the process. This way, Elaine and Emory could take each other as chosen mates, and rule the pack the way they want. To do that, they needed to get rid of the elders that would be in their way, and of course two certain Alphas. Everything was going as planned. She managed to get her husband to visit her son's pack the day of the attack, while she stayed home. They didn't anticipate the two Alphas to hold up long enough for help to co
Third Person's POV "Um... Maybe we should wait until we get back to talk about this." Hughes said. "Ok," Ethan said, then looked out the window again. Claudius nibbled on his lip, nervously glancing at Ethan every so often. Ethan looked deep in thought as he stared out the window. "No, I think they definitely said he was pregnant. They did, didn't they?" Ethan suddenly said, and Hughes' eyes slowly closed before turning to face Ethan again. "Yes, Noah is pregnant." "Wow! So he is trans? I guess I can see it. His face does look a little feminine." "What is trans?" Claudius asked, and Hughes groaned as he ran his hands down his face. Hughes was glad when the pack house came into view. This wasn't a conversation he wanted to have in the car. Hughes held the door open as his mates entered his apartment. Ethan held Claudius's hand as he let his eyes scan Hughes's apartment. "Um, why don't we have a seat?" Hughes said, gesturing to his mates toward the living room. Claudiu
Third Person's POV Claudius laughed as Ethan twisted him back and forth on one of the stools. Ethan made sure Claudius was holding onto the counter before he grabbed the controller and turned the volume up. The music became louder, and Ethan began singing and dancing as he made his way back toward Claudius. Hughes looked over his shoulder, smiling from the stove before turning his attention back to the fajitas he was making. Hughes looks to his left as he hears Ethan entering the kitchen. The biggest smile spreads across the Alpha's face when he sees Ethan singing and dancing with each step he makes toward the Alpha. Hughes looks forward as he stirs the pan once more, but flinches, his hips jerking forward when Ethan smacks his ass. "Make me another drink Alpha!" Hughes shakes his head, for some reason he's unable to say no to them tonight. Hughes pulls the bottle of rum down and fills their glasses again. Before Hughes can even fill his own glass, Ethan hijacks the one cl
Third Person's POVEthan walks out of Claudius's room, and glares at Zane who's leaning against the wall, with his arms folded, and chewing a toothpick. "At least you took those stupid sunglasses off!" Ethan said, and Zane's eyebrows shot up before he laughed."Did my sunglasses bother you that much?" "No, just the fact that your ego was so douchey, that you felt in order to look cool, you had to wear sunglasses indoors!" Ethan said, and Claudius took a sharp breath in, and Zane threw his head back laughing."Oh, Goddess! Yes, you are definitely a feisty little human! You've got some balls on you, little one!" Zane laughed."Stop calling me little! Just because I'm not a giant like you, doesn't mean I'm little!" Ethan said as they walked up the stairs."Okay human, I'll stop calling you little." "This human has a name, you know! It's Ethan!" "You're not being mean to him are you?" A voice said, causing Ethan to look up as they walked down the hall. Ethan's eyes land on someone he d
Third Person's POV As Claudius was taking a shower, Ethan stepped onto the balcony and turned his phone on. After his phone powered on, the notification chime began to go off one after another as the notifications continued popping up. Ethan let out a sigh, bracing himself as he hit the message button and watched all the messages pop up. Ethan's mouth hung open when he saw the amount of messages he had. His stomach drops when he realizes they're not just from his two friends but work as well. Ethan slaps his forehead, before letting his hands slide down his face. "Fuck!" Ethan curses, realizing he's missed the last few days of work. With everything going on, he never once even thought of work. Before Ethan could even open a message, his phone began ringing. "I'm so sorry!" Ethan said, then pulled the phone away from his ear when his best friend began yelling at him. "Are you fucking kidding me! Where the hell have you been? Are you okay? Did he kidnap you or something? What th
