I couldn't sleep. Daniel and I had gone to bed together for the first time and he was still here. Swoon. He had an arm slung over me. And I would be ecstatic if it weren't for the girl in the next room. She was here for nefarious purposes, I was sure of it. I didn't trust Lenore, hence being wide awake. I was afraid to sleep. What if she tried something...I don't know. Maybe I was overthinking, but I know I heard her say something before I left her room last night. I'm pretty sure Daniel believed me, but what could he do? If she was in her little state and I was wrong, well, we couldn't take that chance. I wasn't some monster to send a child-like woman out into the world. If I'm right, then I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop. And I'm sure I'm right. What to do about it?
