Cassandra's POV

The car we take t the meeting is a Cadillac CTS. My father , Schofield and I ride alone t the location and I'm not surprised when it turns out to be an Hotel that belongs to the Alpha King. We leave the car with the valet and take the steps on the first floor leading to the basement elevator.

The hotel is pretty much deserted and the staff in duty don't measure up to 30. Top secret. The elevator count goes to three before it stops and opens. I share a look with Schofield and I brace myself to avoid breaking in a sweat. We're actually late and dinner is about to start when we finally find the long table with Eliana and her mate at the head of the table. Unfamiliar faces surround the table and I stand stiff next to my father as he bows and apologizes to a man half his age for his late coming.
