Chapter 39: Shopping for the Party

Celeste’s POV

As the day progressed, we ended up shopping till we felt like we were going to literally drop! I was beat and Shaylee was working her way there herself. She suggested we go grab dinner at some fancy restaurant in town and I agreed. On our way to the restaurant, I realized I hadn’t checked my cell phone for messages in quite a while. I was having such a good time, I didn’t pay attention to it at all.

Dante: I hear you are shopping with my sister. Are you okay?

Dante: I am going to assume you are ignoring me because you are too busy shopping. I expect you to respond to my messages when I text you.

Dante: You’re lucky I assigned two bodyguards to be with you. I called them to check on you and confirmed that you are not paying attention to your phone. Have a good time. I’ll see you when you come home.

SHIT! I missed three text messages from Dante! I hope he isn’t too upset with me by the time we get home!

Me: I’m sorry Dante! I was having a really good time with your sister
